Projection to call on countries to comply with commitments to reduce methane emissions.
A few days before the start, on October 31, of the United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow, England, the Mexican Center for Environmental Law, AC (CEMDA), launched a call to the federal government to comply with its international commitments to mitigate methane emissions. (CEMDA), called on the federal government to comply with its international methane mitigation commitments, due to the almost immediate benefits that would be obtained in slowing down climate change.
Through a video projection (videomapping), in a building located at the intersection of Juarez Avenue and Paseo de la Reforma, which will take place from Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th from 8pm to midnight, CEMDA seeks to raise awareness among civil society about the climate emergency we are living, whose consequences are already much more devastating than those caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
