Cinemex, one of Mexico’s leading movie theater chains, unveils the latest evolution of its brand identity—kicking off with the renovation of its Gran Sur location to mark its 30th anniversary. This launch includes a permanent audiovisual installation that introduces this exciting new chapter.
In the venue’s main hall—which serves as a reception area, box office, and waiting lounge—we present the core content we developed to bring the new visual identity to life. Through a fresh and dynamic narrative, we highlight the fun and excitement of a moviegoing experience, even before stepping into the theater.
This immersive 3D experience follows the new Cinemex logo as it unfolds through the various cinematic worlds that Cinemex offers—from grabbing popcorn and a soda, to diving into genres like action, romance, and suspense. Using immersive effects such as anamorphic illusions, we create a unique and engaging interaction with the audience.
The installation is permanent and will accompany moviegoers in multiple cinema lobbies throughout Mexico.
